![]() People who have scored highly have mentioned this as one of their preferred resources. Most popular lists overlap, but I would use the GregMat lists which are summarized in this Anki list here. Also in this list is a book of solutions to the PowerPrep tests.įor Verbal most people will recommend GregMat or Manhattan lists. ![]() Additionally, supplement PrepSwift with practice questions from the official ETS material, such as the Quant and Verbal reasoning guides, your primary goal (even with limited time) should be to familiarize yourself with as many kinds of ETS questions as possible to get used to the ways they trap and trick you, this link compiles all the main books and resources. Then try GregMat practice exams, they consist of various 30 and 35 min Quant and Verbal sections and you should be able to do at least 1 a day. You can definitely finish 10-20 easy-mediums a day. Do them untimed first, then try to do them timed with 1-3 minutes after you understand the solution, to mimic exam conditions. You should be able to do most easy-medium's, some hard's, and 1 or 2 extremes after finishing PrepSwift Quant and Verbal. If you can't watch the plans in their entirety, you can instead watch all of PrepSwift Quant + Verbal, and then supplement PrepSwift with the Quant and Verbal questions on the main GregMat page, they have text and video solutions. Greg himself said that PrepSwift is decently comprehensive but goes into less depth than his 1 and 2 month plans. Most importantly at the start of the plan Greg suggests you take a diagnostic test to check your abilities in Verbal and Quant, you can try the free PowerPreps (2 papers) on ETS and then purchase the PPP3+ (if you want to, 3 additional papers) it can give you an idea of where you stand, and then you can decide if you should focus more on Verbal or Quant with your limited time, but try and divide equal attention to both where possible.Īs for PrepSwift, I managed to finish the Quant videos but personally still found that my fundamentals in Maths were severely lacking. ![]() Unfortunately I had no time to finish either plan for my first attempt, so I plan to watch the 2-month plan for my second upcoming attempt. if he suggested Manhattan 5LB, you can do a smaller amount of questions and then head to the next day's material. ![]() Likewise if you can't finish the recommended homework, e.g. If you are following the 1 or 2 month plan on GregMat+, you can speed up the videos if necessary and skip over the parts where he takes questions, you should be able to cover more material in a shorter time. Unfortunately I did not get the score I wanted but I am feeling alot more prepared for my second attempt thanks to Greg and I used the same resources as you. Hey, I'm subscribed to GregMat+ as well and was in a similar situation to you with limited study time for my first GRE attempt, so I can suggest some pointers. ![]()
